You said you’d hold my hand forever But why did you let go I trusted your word Believed your every word When you said you would hold me forever But you didn't did you Why did you let go To be forever in my clasp Was it really that hard Was it Your eyes so trusting Demeanour even more so Im struggling with the lie you told The words from your lips to my ear Forgive me I must have misinterpreted the words Forever
