Drink Ink

The muse and I hold hands and watch the sun set

I soak in the carcinogenic dust that blackens my eyes

You say you don't wanna play

Well that aint good enough as a twist becomes

A turn

A twist

A twist

My death belies another state while a look in the mirror

Will not help me

Or you

As I work in these fingers

Beneath the layers of skin and plead upon the floor

You pray?

Light another cigarette

Do you pray?

Peel the crackled paint upon the wall

Lick the powdered plaster

From under

Bleeding nails

Taste again

Can you imagine all this pain and suffering

Taste again

Can you imagine what you put me through

This is a story for someone else

I wipe the blackness from my eye

I wipe again

I taste

That that is black

N pray

Taste the ink

That blackens

This heart

Taste the ink

Drink in that is me

Drink in all that I can be

Drink in all that I will be

While the walls
Bleed tears of cinnamon
Fear twists sex into her spine
Below her mouth
Diamond marked
Smudged with wine
Lips move a shadow
Across his tenderized
Undertones, drip in mono- sussurant syllabic reprise
Ignorance spills its pleasure’s
Dressed in onyx lace
She presents her case
Stilettos stretch and rise
Press desired pain
In blush leisure
Through a darker Paradise

In neon flashes
He tilts her chin
To face
His eyes' embrace
Drenched in smoke
He coils
She tsk's
And she tasks him
Moving seminal
Shadows from her lace
At a killer’s pace
Skin is skinned
In multilayered Ink
With claws unsheathed, playing bones in his jaw
Carving her initials
Behind his ears with a kiss
Spreads her jasmine oils
Tainted of venom and spoils

She slithers out of high priced denim
Draws him an erotic plenum
Takes on the art of camouflage
Serrated tongues pierced
To do her
To undo her
To move her

Pluck another memory
Pin it to his spine
Lessons carved into the face
Inside you
The beginning
In rewind

I waited all so long

Care to share muse?

Can I be the one

In a petroleum blanket

of Flames

Your loneliness

makes me

When all I can

is bleed

the cinder path

As ebony teeth

And I tear

Yellowed nicotine stained

from the roots

Talon’d fingers

in Swirls

Living life

comforted in

Drink in

cognitive realities distort

blurring in visions

through the eyes

coloured in waves

of the

And I

And I

And I

A morning kiss

The muse wakes me gently

As the morning scent

Drifts in

On a golden curtain

The long shadows

Silver droplets

I bend in

A last breath

Of death

She is beautiful

Is the muse tattoo'd?

She is beautiful

But she struggles

To find the time to breathe

Dressed in all the shadows

Of a distant make-believe

And you can hear

A mandolin

Try to hide her scream

In her reflection

A smudged and torrid

Pincushion to a world

Succumbed to a vision

In alabaster white

Dance steps

The checked floor

She wants to hide it all

Slick guitar licks

Unbutton and gyrate

Unfocussed attention

She keeps bleeding

In love

In the dark

In the speckled light of the mirror ball

As her skin

Is tattoo’d in a dapple light

Of hearts

All the one dollar bills

And drink in the ambiance

Of a stained carpet

And liquid loves

For a twenty minute fantasy

Riding on her dreams

While they walk out the door

To the beauty

That lies within

And smudges

Her lipstick on their collars

Blended with her perfume

As her spirit bleeds

She is beautiful

The muse lasts forever

When the lights go on

Remember me

A kiss of this time

Forgiveness bleeds

One last time

The muse and I hold hands and kiss the moon

Something wrong in the air today

I gotta get up

Before we erase the shuffle

N burn the thoughts back to the place before

It all began in the strobe lights

The three or four shadows danced on the wall

While the cops kissed my head with the toes of their boots

As the truth be told it was days before when I lost my soul

My blood soaks the concrete n I count the diamonds n pearls

I pay the price of trying to keep the voices quiet

WIth the booze and the pills and the cheap hookers dripping lipstick from their dreams

I don't believe I ever saw you cry

In the dark corners where I seen you scream

N kissed the rusty blade asking my name

I danced alone that night didn't I

Like a fool I believed in something that could never be

You watched for a longest of times

Drifting in your silent screams

Transgressed beyond those that can hear or care to hear anymore

When it rains it stains

Stains the world in colours of red

Stains all my skin in colours Ive never seen

Colours this canvas not in blues and greens

Stains in red and spreads the more in rains

Its something we have in common

Common more than most would have others believe

The warmth soaks and bleeds my being

Ive kissed the metallic on more than one occasion

Drank in the moist fragrance from the air

Let me hold it to the sky

Show them all what I could have been if I wanted

What I should have been if I wanted

I wanted to be then one who was me

That was never going to be

Those times you came into my room

In the darkness of the night

I now always sleep with the light on

It would be our little secret you said

Well its a secret all right forever

Forever is a long time but not in this lifetime

Yours has been kissed short

A bullet for your thoughts

A penny for my wishing well came in good

One last time

Sit in the golden waves of a field of drifting one last time

Tasting the metallic one last time

Smile and listen to the music that is nature one last time

I watch the azure fade and the clouds smile

One last time
