Time to change  How you see the world Shift your focus From them to me Such is the way You live this day Its time to change Time to stand up and believe in me All believers Non Believers Manic street preachers Got a lot to say Get on their knees and pray To a god that will not answer today Snake oil salesmen Sell you dreams of hope Just like the preacher From his pulpit of damnation and hellfire Who ya got to believe Try not to deceive Is the one true hope It lives inside of you Just got to look within Live within sin Trust in what I say Its got to be this way Take that first precious step A leap of faith in me Spread those wings Break free From these mortal coils That bind you here You are more than this You are our one true hope

The longest of exhaled breathes Will not disguise the ongoing death That will be the bane of my existence Forever as I survive among the grotesque Tainting my already blemished soul From a life well lived in a lifetimes past Collecting memorabilia placed upon the walls To remind a clouded memory of victories past Ever glorious in the telling to a passerby As if it occurred in the yesteryear Yet only ever existed in my drug fucked illusions Brought about in the hallucinogenic vagrancies Fucking with the inner turmoil that is the demon Plagued with so many goodbyes Of dear friends in the making of this meaningless life Meaning it does have in the shattered remnants Splattered inner bile from the depths of my empty stomach Come and kiss me deep let our tongues dance in the acid Warmth and moisture instil me with some comfort All well knowing that this time is short lived Feeling well from underneath long since forgotten Unknown in this vessel for what seems like eternity But it stirs none the less like the vibrant youth of before Instilling virtues that where a mere pinprick of recognition So I plunge deep within the tortured mindfuck that is life Repeated thrusts each with its own intent and malice Prepared to quell the desire that resides within this life of hell Emanations of laughter soon resound this space Be resolute in knowing there is no fucken escape As the longest of breathes escape

In a dreamlike state you visited me Touched kissed and caressed I dare not open my eyes for fear For this cannot be real A breathe unlike any other upon my soul Warm and sensual feathers toy with my being Unmoving I lay enjoying the bliss that envelopes Conscious yet unconscious tingling of senses Trapped in the void in between Mere microns between what is real and not Feeling your weight hover above me All I want is that glimpse Confirmation of what is believed to be true Yet questions and doubts remain Formulated by beliefs that constrain Nothing unreal can be true Yet I know I’ve been visited by you Awaken at those thoughts worked through Eyes open to reveal an empty room Yet on the pillow beside me Lies but a single strand

If I could hold you one last time Before you went and whispered goodbye Passed off into the setting sun Will I get to see you once more If I could I would have Tried so hard to convince you Not to leave this place to start anew Your smile cast upon my memories A look into a babe at arms Your face within theres A presence forever more A psychical reminder of you But move on you must Endeavour to secure a better place A future without torment With the hope of a future to join us You asked that I not shed a tear A tear I shed a must Fall upon this god forsaken land Absorbed into the river of tears and blood that already exists But god hear me now as I say this prayer Protect this man in his travels He has not deserted this land or family But fights for us to have a better life

We all play that game
All of us take a part
Some roll the dice
Others by the fall of a card
Decisions made by the whim of man
Lady Luck cannot decide
Lets give this another try
Roll it
Shake it
Set it free
Be what it wants to be
Fight to be the strongest
Fight to end up the meekest
Rewarded in fame
Bask in fortune
Internalise the worth
The shallowness hides
Hidden by the glitter
Count the costs
Explore the loss
The emptiness inside
