Amaranth Seduction

I share the muse a dream

Cut the blade

Inside

A pool of tears

To hide behind

To live or die

Lick me

Savor

The taste of fear

Taste in the ecstasy

Tease the blood

Amaranth seduction

Of a pleasing

Quicken the breath

Gasp in sweet

Drink cerise air

Smooth slithered edge

Of a love

Of a lust

Hold sharp in a palm

Jade whispers

In severed dreams

Of blood

Of dust

I've had to go away and Google 'Amaranth'. The word sounds like something out of The Arabian Nights...

Wow! I really like this. Excellent title and sharp, hard-hitting, clipped lines.

Does love have to draw blood to be true?

it is a cool progression there through your close in the mirror rhymes....love lust blood dust...i think love and pain go together all too often....and perhaps that is the way it was meant...

aloha - the love/pain of our muse - very spot on. one without the other is a challenge. maybe it's not possible? sweet sweet when the muse brings tea and honey tho. cool. and yeah, the love lust, blood dust is a cool echo to end on in my skull. aloha
